A Two Week Break?! What to Expect

*Spoilers for 6×05 Included*

The Gospel of Josephine

“The Gospel of Josephine” was the fifth episode of the sixth season of The 100. Before the episode was released, the synopsis read as follows:

Jordan (Shannon Kook) investigates Sanctum. Meanwhile, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) and Diyoza (Ivana Milicevic) discover the threats of the new planet firsthand. Lastly, Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) butt heads.

This left room for a lot of interpretation going into the episode. Many fan theories developed every day as the episode got closer and closer to release date. From what I have experienced, many of the theories are coming true (or partly true). You can read more on fan theories on my previous posts. So going off the very vague synopsis, the episode was one of the best of the season and perhaps the series. Just after Jordan loses Delilah during Naming Day, he (along with Bellamy, Murphy, and “Clarke”) investigate Sanctum trying to get to the bottom of what is really going on during the ceremony.

The group finds the room Clarke was put into when she became Josephine (Clarke will now be referred to as J.C. when referring to Josephine) and they figure out what is going on. J.C. tries to remain calm and not be a suspect when the group continues to talk about this exchange of contentiousness. Like many thought, Bellamy is the first to discover Clarke is no longer Clarke. J.C. rebels and temporally paralyzes him and makes her escape from his interrogation. She then ventures over to Murphy at the end of the episode (who she thinks is cute lolz) and offers him a chance to be immortal like her. He is obviously stunned at the fact that Clarke is now J.C. and quietly says, “I’m listening” in response.

Many fans believe Murphy is just trying to gain more information on how this works and will not betray his friends to join the Primes. Another interesting discovery this episode, was Diyoza and Octavia’s new friendship as they look for (what we think is) Gabriel. The two bond over their experiences as they sink into the quick sand. The episode ends with Diyoza saving Octavia from “drowning” in the sand and the audience is left on a small cliff hanger when the two discover something odd about the woods. Overall, this episode had almost no flaws and demonstrated the feel of the sixth season. Fans should expect more of this uneasy feeling going into the following episodes.

Memento Mori (June 11th)

Yes, I know. ONE WEEK WITHOUT AN EPISODE?! I am also impatient when it comes to this show. After the events of the fifth episode, fans are on the edge of their seats these next couple weeks. Not much information on this episode has been said about this episode but the synopsis reads as such:

Diyoza learns more about the mysterious Children of Gabriel while Abby  (Paige Turco) continues searching for a way to save Kane Henry Ian Cusick).

A very short synopsis no doubt, but many fans wonder why J.C, Bellamy, and Octavia are not in it. Image result for luisa d'oliveiraJason Rothenberg has confirmed they are in this episode, but after the events of last episode you would think they would have more of a role. In other news, Luisa D’Oliveira (Emori) has not been present since the third episode. With Murphy “agreeing” to become immortal many fans wonder why Emori has not been present along side her boyfriend. To conclude, the sixth episode of the sixth season will be very interesting to watch and hopefully will not disappoint audiences after the amazing fifth episode two weeks earlier.

“The Children of Gabriel” Thoughts & “The Face Behind the Glass” Preview

“The Children of Gabriel” (Season 6 Episode 3) Thoughts & Future Plot Points?!

Before this episode season six had many unknowns. The bugs in the first episode and the red sun eclipse in the second. Now our characters have entered Sanctum and met the important people of the society. Episode three opened up a lot of new theories for the rest of the season and more questions for the audience that will be answered as the season continues.

Image result for the 100 season 6 episode 3
Clarke (Eliza Taylor) 6×03

In episode two the audience met Josephine Lightbourne. She was the original genetisist for the Eligius III mission when they first landed on the moon. We also learned that she wrote the Red Sun book Clarke and Bellamy found in the first episode. In the third episode, we were introduced the Russel Lightbourne and his wife Simone. The Primes are also a huge factor in the third episode. Not much information has been shared on what exactly a Prime is but many fans believe that a Prime is similar to a Heda. When a Prime dies their conscious is stored and passed on to a living nightblood. We heard Delilah talking to Jordan about how she would soon become Priya the seventh of her name which almost confirms this theory that each original Prime is passed down to a nightblood. Adding to this theory is the idea that Russel only let Clarke (and friends) stay because he saw that Clarke was a nightblood. We hear one of his guards say something along the lines of, “She has the blood,” which refers to her blood being black instead of red. Many fans believe that Josephine will be transferred into Clarke at some point during the season.

Jordan (Shannon Kook) and Delilah (Ashleigh LaThorp) 6×03

But again, these are just theories and we will have to wait for each episode. Moving past the nightblood theory, there were many other high points to the episode. We saw the Blake siblings continue their struggling relationship when Bellamy bans Octavia from returning to the drop-ship with the small group that rescued Madi, Diyoza, and Gaia. Bob Morley and Marie Avgeropoulos both mentioned in pre-season interviews that [the Blakes’] relationship will be tested especially after the events of the previous season. We definitely saw that this episode and it will continue for at least the next couple episodes. Hopefully, though, by the end of the season we can see the wanted relationship fans have missed since the fourth season. Lastly, at the end of the second episode Murphy was unconscious after his fight with eclipsed Bellamy. At the beginning of this episode, Russel removed the poison from seaweed with a native snake that has (according to Russel) been used to help people since the second eclipse. Though Murphy was cured, he remained unconscious for the first part of the episode.

John Murphy (Richard Harmon) 6×03

Eventually he woke up in a fright which interrupted a conversation between Clarke and Jordan. He said he remembers dying and knows he is going to hell which sent him into a depression for the whole episode. He is seen drinking and remaining silent for the last half of the episode. Before the season, Richard Harmon mentioned in an interview that Murphy would be dealing with a lot of emotional issues this season and drinking would be his best friend. Hopefully this doesn’t lead to him making bad decisions in the coming episodes. Overall, the third episode of the season left many questions for fans but gave the audience a look at the society our characters will be dealing with in the season.

Clarke with a dog 6×03

I did not talk to much about the Children of Gabriel in this post because they are still very mysterious and their origin is unknown. As more information is revealed (hopefully in episode four) my next post will included more on the Children.

“The Face Behind the Glass” (Season 6 Episode 4)

The fourth episode of the season continues to add to the mystery of Sanctum, it’s people, and their culture. The synopsis reads as follows:

“Clarke embraces the traditions of Sanctum and tries to make amends for her past actions.”

A very short preview summary which is not a surprise. This episode is set to air on May 21, 2019, and will hopefully answer many of the unknowns that we have discovered in Sanctum.

Season 6 Episode 1 “Sanctum” Thoughts

As a fan of the show I could not wait to see the first couple episodes. To everyone’s surprise, the first two episodes were released on twitter. Though many people were upset to see the hard work of the actors and actresses go to waist, I watched the first two episodes early (still promising to watch them live in hopes of getting a season 7). For those who do not want spoilers on the first episode this is not the post to read.

The synopsis of the episode “Sanctum” reads:

Still reeling after receiving Monty’s message, a small group goes down to explore the mysterious new planet; several members of Wonkru face the consequences of their decisions.”

The first episode of the sixth season exceeded all expectations. The idea of landing on a new planet after losing the groups closest friends seemed shaking to say the least. After watching the first (and second) episodes the hopes for this and future seasons are very high.

Image result for sanctum the 100

The execution of each character’s opinion on Monty and Harper’s death along with the addition of Jordan was perfect. Octavia’s struggles and conflicts in the first episode was also perfect. Many thought before the trailer was released that this season would be messy and unorganized, but based off the first episode it is quite the opposite. The new planet and it’s orange-y glow gives off the “alien” and “foreign” vibe fans were looking for. The foliage, lake, and ground resembles the Earth we all know, but there is something slightly different about it all. This opens the door for questions and answers to be filled throughout the season. The overall mood of the characters picks up right where we left off in season 5. Murphy still has his shoulder injury, Raven, Shaw, and the rest of Spacekru have issues with Clarke’s morals in the previous season. Becho is still together, and Abby and Kane are still in constant conflict with Octavia’s blodrenia choices. Rothenberg did a great job keeping fans involved in season five while still pushing a new direction in season 6. When the group finally decided to venture on the new planet (now determined to be a moon), we learned about the solar eclipse.

Image result for the 100 season 6

Though it was not revealed how often this event occurs, the affect it has on our main characters in the first episode is very minimal (second episode is very different). We learn that the eclipse releases toxins in the plants that make people go “crazy”. Once again it has not been revealed the in depth description on how this works but that is basically what happens. The first (and only in episode one) we see affected is Emori. She ends up going full psycho on her (confirmed) boyfriend Murphy and stabs him in the shoulder knocking him to the ground. This is the final scene in the first episode. The writers figured out a way to bring a new life to the show in just 42 short minutes. The rest of the season is bound to be filled with excitement, mystery, and lots upon lots of new characters that will test the relationships of our fan favorites.

Remember to tune in LIVE on Tuesday, April 30 2019, on the CW to watch the premiere of the 100 season six! Depending on my schedule I might not post a “thought” for each episode this season but I’ll try my best to post. 🙂

Season 6 Trailer Summary + Thoughts

“Can you see it? Is it beautiful? I hope we do better there. I hope Jasper was wrong and we aren’t the problem I hope your lives there will be as happy as mine has been. Be the good guys.” -Monty Green

As our heroes embark onto the new planet in Season 6 of The 100, they face many new problems within themselves and those who inhabit the planet (Sanctum). This season of The 100 will air on April 30th, 2019, on the CW at 9/8c. Recently, on March 28th, the producer of the show Jason Rothenberg released the trailer for the sixth season after weeks of teasing it’s release. Before we dive into the trailer and possible theories for the new planet and character, the season six poster was also released this past week.

The 100 Season 6 Poster

The poster, shown on the left, gives a very vague idea of what is in store for our characters this season. The obvious theme of the sixth season is “Face Your Demons”, and this is also present throughout the trailer. The idea of “Facing your demons” leaves a lot of room for interpretation among fans. Could this mean our characters could battle with their own personal issues and insecurities? Lucky for us the trailer reveals a lot of the unanswered questions the poster leaves open.

The New Cast Interviews

The season six trailer was released just days after the cast interviews were posted on the Youtube Channel KSiteTV. This channel interviewed Richard Harmon, Bob Morley, Shannon Kook, Lindsey Morgan, Tasya Teles and Marie Avgeropoulos, and asked them many questions about the upcoming season. Each interview opened up many new questions about the new season and the relationships that are being formed among characters. When as about Bellamy and Octavia’s sibling relationship, Marie stated, “This season will be very interesting for Bellamy and Octavia.” When asked the same question Bob stated, “I think it takes some time to address the situation between the two of them and I think that they both have a lot of their own healing they have to do before they can even start to speak to each other on terms where its amicable or the ability for it to grow into a more healthy relationship.” Also in Morley’s interview, when he was asked about the relationship fans know as Bellarke, he stated, “[Bellamy and Clarke] still have to kind of resolve what went down last season with Madi and being left in the fighting pit… They have to figure out a way to get through that.” Moving on from the relationships Bellamy is facing through the new season. Richard Harmon also touched on his relationships in the show.

Image result for the 100 season 6 trailer

On the topic of Murphy and Jordan’s (Shannon Kook) relationship, Harmon mentioned that “it’ll be very interesting to see where [Murphy and Jordan’s] relationship goes and when it comes to Murphy maybe it’s… careful what you wish for when you meet your heroes.” He also added that Murphy “is the fun uncle,” which will be exciting to see how that topic is explored into the season. Richard was also asked how Murphy’s injury will effect him this season. He responded, “No [Murphy’s] still gonna- the injury will follow into season six and that will be ‘a part’ of him.” Very interesting commentary and, once again, another interesting detail fans are waiting to see. Tasya Teles also went on to mention that she believes “Monty and Echo were really close. She really has a special place in her heart for him. She’s going to feel really connected to his son.” Jordan is definitely an open-minded character that will provide some very-much needed optimism to our group of heroes. Obviously he has learned everything about his “Aunts” and “Uncles” from his parents so it’ll be invigorating to see how the writers approach each relationship with Jordan Jasper Green.

The Trailer

Watch the Season 6 trailer HERE

Wow! Finally a trailer has been released for the new season of The 100. After months of waiting, the fans were given their first taste of the sixth season. August brought tears to the eyes of audiences everywhere. Even if you did not care that much for Monty, Harper, or Marper as a whole, you were just as shocked as the rest of us when these two individuals stayed and lived out their entire lives alone on the Eligius ship. They sacrificed themselves to save and create a better life for the rest of our main characters. Luckily, their memories are not entirely gone. A new addition to the cast Shannon Kook will play their son in the sixth season. So about the sixth season. On March 28th, 2019, the CW released the trailer for the sixth season of The 100.

The trailer starts off with a shot of the Eligius ship with the planet in the background. Monty’s final video log plays in the background repeating the same message of “being the good guys.” As the voice over continues you see Echo, John Murphy, Raven Reyes, Emori, Miles “Zeke” Shaw, Clarke Griffin, Bellamy Blake, Jordan Green, and Abby Griffin staring at the new planet. (Note: Murphy is still in a sling) In this review not every shot will be noted so I highly suggest watching the trailer along with reading this article. As nice and light sounding music plays in the background we get more looks at our new, unfamiliar planet. The camera work shows the two suns and the view of the atmosphere from the ground. They make it very clear that this planet is not Earth, which shows the precise work that has gone into the making of the set and scenery. We see our character’s (most likely) reacting to the planet for the first time and Clarke entering the Sanctum “palace”. Raven then has a small cameo with Clarke where they are talking about Clarke’s mistakes in the past. Last season there were not many Clarke and Raven scenes so this short scene will hopefully keep fans of both characters intrigued in their relationship. We also get a hint as to how the Blake’s relationship will start in the beginning of the season. Bellamy mentions that his sister died a long time ago, which is an edgy response despite Octavia’s previous behavior. We then get our first look at Sanctum.

What appears to be a peaceful community surround by trees and bright colors is home to people who have sought out survival in an (what appears to be) enclosed area. JR Bourne’s character, Russel, is the leader of this community and throughout the trailer interacts with main characters like Clarke Griffin a majority of his screen time. For once in their lives, everyone appears to be happy and enjoying their time at the Sanctum “palace” (I’m calling it a palace because from the set pictures released months ago the main building looks like a castle).

“If anyone needs a fresh start…it’s us.” -Clarke Griffin

Up until about 1:40 into the trailer, the overall theme seemed to be quiet and peaceful (very different than previous seasons). Almost halfway into the trailer, the entire mood changes. The music turns into an eerie sounding track and we see many close up shots of characters including Bellamy Blake. A voice over states, “It looks like the suns are eclipsing” which is promptly followed by another character’s voice saying “I feel it!” The audience then is forced to witness Jackson “stabbing” Miller with a knife (Clarke is present in this scene as well).

First Clip of Eclipse Induce Psychosis

The trailer cuts to Emori screaming and being held back by an unknown man, Bellamy punching Murphy and throwing him in a a pool of water (then later strangling him), and Echo along with Octavia clutching their heads and screaming as well. Another voice says “There are worse things in this world then eclipse induced psychosis.” The interesting thing is we never see anyone from Sanctum going through similar actions as the main cast. This introduced many questions among the fandom about the effects of the two suns and the eclipse. Suddenly on screen a green stream of surging power flows through the forest. This is followed by more looks at some of our characters from different scenes. These included Gaia (who suffered a leg injury from last season), Murphy, and Clarke.

“We have no idea how to survive down here.” -Clarke Griffin

Finally, with only about one minute left in the action pack trailer, we see Madi for the first time. Remember, last season she became Heda by taking the flame. In the sixth season, fans can expect to see Madi face the side effects of this process. In the trailer she states, “In my dreams, I see a commander who frightens me.” Despite seeing Lexa’s leadership as Heda, the audience has never witnessed the flames affect from the beginning of the Heda journey. If the writers approach this topic with ease and explain the origins with simple logic that won’t overbear fans, the idea of Madi’s experience with the flame will be a good one for the season as a whole (which could hopefully lead to more leadership by her into future seasons).

BTS of Season 6

The next scene has left the most questions in my mind (take in affect that I am a huge fan of John Murphy). Surrounded by Clarke, Bellamy, Miller, Jackson, Jordan and what appears to be Emori, John emerges from either a coma or simply being knocked out with a huge scream. Is this a result of him fighting Bellamy? Could the snake that was shown earlier in the trailer have poisoned him? Was it a result of the eclipse? Later in the trailer, a scene that appears to be the same scene,  he states, “I saw something and I pretty sure I’m going to hell.” (My mind just exploded don’t @ me ok ok sorry). Moving forward with the trailer we see a conversation between Russel and Clarke. At this point in the season (whatever episode this conversation takes place in), Russel has heard of what has happened to Earth and is concerned for his people. He states, “These people are dangerous.” If you were not following the BTS information about Bourne’s character it was said that Clarke and Bellamy will see him as a leader of his people but will run into several conflicts with him. The quote from the trailer confirms this and opens more doors and questions that fans have about Russel. After Russel’s voice over ends their is a clip of Bellamy strangling Russel with Murphy and Clarke in the room as well. Once again, Bellamy and Clarke are supposed to be at odds with Russel and Bellamy’s action in this scene furthermore proves that point.

Clarke At The Sanctum Palace

The last thirty seconds are very fast and could be confusion to some fans. The main theme of the season is facing your “demons” or past. Clarke mentions how she wishes she could go back and change the her poor decisions. There’s a quick clip of a chained Echo and a laughing Emori (most likely affected by the eclipse) followed by the Murphy scene I mentioned earlier. Back to the face your demons, we see Madi playing a chess game with (what seems to be) herself. Many fans spectate this is part of the flames initiation path for Madi. The finale (major) shot we see is Octavia fighting Blodreina (aka her demon). This season is going to be all about the character’s dealing with their actions in the past and how they dealt with those actions. This scene confirms that the theme of demons will affect every character differently. For example, Clarke’s demon could be pulling the lever and killing a whole community of people in Mt. Weather and John Murphy’s demon (a theory a heard today) could be shooting Raven Reye’s in her now paralyzed leg. This season will be faced with more drama, action, and emotional scenes that, according to Eliza, are very challenging to film but is 100% worth it.

“Welcome to Sanctum,” -Russel

Scene 15:

Raven (On radio): Clarke, we need to fire the engines. Close the door or I will.

Clarke: We need a little more time.

Raven: There is no more time.

Computer: 30 seconds to impact

Raven: Tell Bellamy to get in the damn ship.

Computer: 27, 26…

Raven (On radio): Clarke, I don’t want to do this either, but I’m firing the thrusters.

Monty (from a distance): Bellamy! Wait!

Bellamy: There they are!

Clarke: They’re here.

Computer: 14, 13, 12, 11, 10…

Bellamy: Time to spare.

Computer: 8, 7, 6, 5, 4… 3, 2, 1.

Clarke (On radio): Raven, they’re in.

Raven: Go for launch.

Shaw: Copy that. Three, two, one. Hold on. It’s going to be close.

Raven: Uhh. Just once I’d like to take off from a planet that wasn’t on fire.

Scene 16:

[Coughing]

Bellamy: How’s Murphy?

Clarke: Jackson got both bullets. He’ll be ok. Cockroaches are hard to kill. Emori’s with him now and Gaia’s going keep her leg.

Bellamy: Kane?

Clarke: They put him in a drug-induced coma. I’m not sure why, but Jackson says there’s not enough of the drugs to keep him that way for long. It doesn’t look good.

Bellamy: What if he didn’t need the drug? I don’t know much about cryosleep, but at least it will keep him alive.

Clarke: That’s brilliant. I’ll tell my mom.

Bellamy: Hey. When you’re finished, come to the bridge. We’re deciding the fate of the human race. Again. You should be there.

Clarke: You’re not mad at me for leaving you in Polis?

Bellamy: The commander ordered me not to be.

Clarke: I’ll meet you on the bridge.

Scene 17:

Diyoza: Cheer up. I wasn’t invited, either. You know what your mistake was?

Octavia: Not killing you the day you opened the bunker?

Diyoza: That, too. But then what kind of lesson would that be. Your mistake was liking it. Power. It’s the kiss of death. Thats ok. I liked it, too.

Octavia: One garden, two serpents. Eden never stood a chance.

Scene 18:

Bellamy: It’s gone, guys.

Emori: Close it up, Shaw.

Bellamy: Like our ancestors on the ark, we’re the last of the human race.

Clarke: Our ancestors were wrong. We’re not.

Bellamy: 412 people on this ship. Thanks to Madi, we saved who could be saved. Now it’s our job to keep them alive. How do we do that?

Emori: Algae?

Murphy: Oh, float me now.

Shaw: Can I…?

Bellamy: Yeah.

Shaw: From what we know about the half-life of hythylodium, it’ll be at least 10 years before that valley comes back. The ship does have a small water recycler and a few week’s worth of rations, but that’s it. Cryo is the only option. There are 500 pods, which is more than enough for what we need.

Raven: I agree with Shaw. The tech is amazing. We got to sleep, we don’t age, we wake the next morning, it’s 10 years later, and Bob’s your uncle.

Monty: I thought you hated that phrase.

Raven: It’s growing on me.

Bellamy: It’s up to you, Madi.

Madi: Ok. I guess it’s time for bed.

Scene 19:

Clarke: All right, Madi, we’re all set.

Madi: Will we dream?

Clarke: I don’t know. But if we do, I’ll see you in mine. Come on. Ok. You ready?

[Kiss]

Clarke: I’m so proud of you, Madi.

Scene 20:

Bellamy: Ok, your turn.

Octavia: Kind of like closing the door in the floor.

Bellamy: Kind of like that.

Octavia: Wait… I love you, big brother. I know you love me, too. Don’t mae me wait 10 years to hear you say it.

Bellamy: You’re my sister, and a part of me will always love you.

Octavia: Does the other part still wish I was dead?

Bellamy: The other part wishes a part of you was. Yeah.

Octavia: That’s fair.

Bellamy: It won’t feel like 10 years.

Scene 21:

Clarke: Hey.

Bellamy: Hey. Uhh. Why is it just us?

Jordan [out of sight]: That’s the way mom and dad wanted it. Uh… can I just say, wow. I mean, I can’t tell you how good it is to finally meet you. Weird but good. Great, actually!

Bellamy: Who are you?

Jordan: My name, right, I didn’t tell you my name. Sorry. I’ve never met anyone before, so I clearly suck at it. Heh heh. I’m Jordan, Monty and Harper’s son.

Bellamy: They didn’t go to sleep.

Jordan: They talked about your time on the ring a lot. Too much, actually. How happy they were there. I guess they wanted to get back to that. Get dressed and come to the bridge. Dad left explicit instructions: “Wake Clarke and Bellamy first. Play them the message.”

Clarke: Hey, wait. How long were we asleep?

Jordan: 125 years.

Scene 22:

Monty (on video): Hey, guys, it’s been about a year since you all went to bed. Not much to report, really. My algae farm is awesome. No surprise there. Oh. I’m able to monitor conditions on the ground using the ship’s geologic equipment, so I’ll know when it’s safe for us to back down. Get’s a little lonely sometimes without the rest of you, but the peace and quiet is what–

Harper: Monty, I’ve been waiting.

Monty: Harper, I’m in the middle of–

Harper: You promised me.

[Kiss]

Harper: We have another 40 staterooms that– Ha Ha! Why didn’t you tell me?

Monty: Uh… not a lot to do in space. Ahem.

Jordan: I so didn’t need to see that.

[Next video]

Monty: Hey, again. Today’s the two-year anniversary of the long nap. Harper’s been eating a little too much algae.

Harper: [laughs] Hilarious. Hey guys, um, surprise. Ha! Ohh. We picked a name today. Boy or girl– Jordan.

Monty: I think Jasper would like that. Anyway, still no sign the ground is coming back. I wouldn’t expect it this soon, so I’m not worried. We’ll check back in next time there’s news.

[Next video]

[Baby fussing]

Monty: Meet Jordan Jasper Green.

[Baby crying]

Monty: Shh. That’s all for now. Harper’s resting. We’re both good, though. Oh, shh. He’ll be eight when you meet him. I can’t wait to see your faces. [To baby] hi.

Jordan: Things didn’t go as planned.

[Next video]

Monty: Happy wake-up day. 10 years. and since you’re watching this sometime in the future, you know not that.. that I didn’t wake you up. That’s because there’s still nothing down there. I’m working the problem. I’ve told Harper it’s to be expected, but, um… well, that’s a lie. This is going to take a while. Jordan is doing great, though. He’s a happy kid. I took a page from Clarke’s parenting book. he knows all about you guys. Believe it or not, Murphy’s his favorite.

Jordan: It was a rebellious phase.

Monty: Anyway, it’s going to be a while. I’ll let you know if things change.

[Next video]

Hey guys, it’s been a long time since we recorded one of these. We just put Jordan in cryo. He’s a good boy.

Harper: Smart, like his father

Monty: and kind like his mom. We chose this life. He didn’t. Hey. If you’re watching this, kiddo… we love you so much. Did you follow m instructions? Assuming he did… hey Bellamy, hey Clarke. We wanted him to wake you first so we could talk. Earth… isn’t coming back. You’ve been asleep for over 28 years and it’s as dead as the day we left. I’m working on a plan “B,” though. If you’re awake, that means I found it. I’ll see you again when I do.

[Monty almost turns video camera off]

Harper: Wait not yet. Take care of our boy.

[Next video]

Monty: Jordan… your mother died today. She was pretty sick the last few years. Clarke, you were right. Her dad’s genetic condition finally got her. We had a good life. Sometimes… I know she wanted to be with you guys. Maybe I did, too. But if we did that… I wouldn’t be able to show you this, son.

[Window opens]

Monty: It took me 30 years, but I finally cracked the Eligius 3 mission file. Turns out it wasn’t a mining mission. After sucking the Earth dry of oil, they went looking for another planet to tap.

Clarke: Two suns?

Monty: I set the coordinates a week ago. If I’m right, you should get there in… 75 years. I’m tempted to put myself in cryo to see it, but without Harper. Anyway, it’s in the Goldilocks zone of a binary star system but that’s all I know. Eligius three never radioed back, or, if they did, it was after apocalypse one, so no one heard it. Can you see it? Is it beautiful? It is in my dreams. I hope we do better there. I hope Jasper was wrong and we aren’t the problem. I hope your lives there will be as happy as mine as been. Be the good guys. May we meet again.

Bellamy & Clarke: May we meet again.

The synopsis states, “It’s a race against the end of the world as Praimfaya arrives forcing our heroes to make impossible decisions to ensure their survival.” The episodes contains stressful tension in both the underground bunker (where Octavia tries to lead the people) and Beccaa’s lab (where Harper, Monty, Clarke, Bellamy, Echo, John, Raven, and Emori reside).

In the bunker Octavia resorts to uniting the clans through bloodshed to be able to control the masses. Peace is tossed aside when the little butterfly chasing girl turns into blodreina (The Red Queen). Octavia sacrifices seeing her brother for six years to save the human race. This moves into the fifth season when she is willing to put Bellamy in the fighting pit to prove a point. Image result for praimfaya rotten tomatoes

At Becca’s lab, on the other hand, the group faces several problems. As praimfaya sets in the group is forced to wear hazmat suits when leaving the base. This leads to many difficulties such as Monty taking off his glove and fainting which lead to Bellamy and Murphy taking extra time to save him. This parallels to the season 5 when the Monty and Bellamy had to carry Murphy to the Image result for praimfaya rotten tomatoesdrop ship before the world ended (again). We also see Raven showing off her mechanical abilities as she fixes the ship and a heroic decision to leave Clarke behind at the end of the episode despite Bellamy’s obvious feelings for her. Clarke’s heroism left her (almost) alone in Eden throughout the six years before the group’s return.

This finale pushed the limits of several characters (including the almost suicide of Echo kom Azgeda) and left the audience surprised at how much character development each character had obtain since the pilot episode. The sImage result for praimfaya rotten tomatoesight of the Eligious IV ship left everyone confused and on the end of their seats, anxiously waiting for the next season.

The episode brought tears to the audiences eyes as Clarke was left behind and predicted dead. Writers of The 100 presented this episode in a way that kept the audience interested with several questions relating to the future of the show. They obviously did not think this was the end and by the looks of it that won’t be for a while. Jason Rothenberg stated in an Entertainment Weekly Interview that the fifth season (and sixth) is “a real perspective shift. Suddenly, Clarke is the Grounder and they are the 100, only they are a different breed of criminal.Related image” Overall, the fourth season finale always brings tears to my eyes and re watching it is always great experience.

Damocles Part 2 Transcript (1)

Scene 1

[Injured people moaning]

Monty: We can’t stay here. We need medical equipment. There’s no food. There’s no water and the rain isn’t drinkable from the ash. It’s time to surrender.

Miller: The people who tried to surrender were slaughtered in the gorge. The enemy, they don’t want prisoners. They want us dead.

Harper: That’s what they’re gonna get if we don’t do something. We have to fight. The longer we wait, the harder it’s gonna be.

Miller: Nobody’s gonna follow me back into that gorge!

Monty: Then we’re already dead.

[Distance engine rumbling]

Monty: They made it.

Miller: We don’t know it’s them. Gunners, spread out and take aim. Fire only on my command.

Murphy: Little help, little help! We’ve got wounded.

Harper: Stand down! Stand down! They’re with us.

Bellamy: Monty, where’s Jackson? She’s lost a lot of blood.

Monty: I got her! I got her!

Octavia: She’ll be ok now.

Indra: Will she? Look around you do you see signs of hope here?

Man [Trigedasleng]: Heda is going to save us.

Other Person In Crowd: Blodreina is coming! Protect the commander.

Bellamy: What are you doing?

Octavia: Out of my way.

Bellamy: O, she saved us.

Madi: Let her pass.

Echo: Heda, that is not a good-

Madi: I said, let her pass.

Scene 2:

Image result for damocles part 2

Echo: We can’t wait much longer. McCreary has Raven and Shaw. One of them will break and fly that ship.

Octavia: You said Clarke was handling that.

Echo: She is. But I’d rather not let missiles tell us she’s failed.

Miller: What’s left of the first battalion is ready.

Brell: The commander’s army is too.

Indra: We’re all the commander’s army now.

Echo: So where’s the commander?

Scene 3:

Niylah: Jackson, Indra’s here.

Jackson: She’s lost a lot of blood, but she’s strong. If we can get her to Abby, she should be able to keep the leg.

Bellamy: It’s time, Madi. Everyone will follow you, but you have to lead them.

Madi: I don’t want to lead them into a massacre.

Indra: We have the numbers, Heda. As long as we press forward, we’ll make it through.

Bellamy: We’ll be right beside you.

Madi: I’m not worried about myself. Look around you. There has to be a better way than rushing back into those guns.

Indra: If there is, we would’ve thought of it.

Gaia [weakly]: Ask the commanders.

Madi: How, Seda? They only talk to me in my dreams and show me what they want me to see.

Gaia: Close your eyes. Breath. In and out. Let this world peel away and repeat after me. Mens mea fiat mens tua (My mind is your mind)

Madi: Mens mea fiat mens tua.

[Overlapping voices]

Madi: I have a plan.

Gaia: Of course you do.

[Muffled scream]

McCreary: Which one of you is ready to fly this ship for me?

[Bones cracking]

Shaw: AAH!

Raven: Stop! Stop! Leave him alone!

[Raven grunting]

Kuba on Radio: Boss, we got movement on the sand. Looks like a vehicle.

McCreary: How far away?

Kuba: Above five clicks. The rest of their army is just outside the gorge, tucked against the wall.

McCreary: Copy that. It’s time to bring the missiles to this party.

-In the Gorge-

Madi: We charge on my command.

-Back with McCreary-

McCreary: Good news. Your dentist appointment is over. We have an army of savages to destroy. So let’s see what we can take off with this. I told you- you don’t need your legs to fly.

[Shaw screaming in pain]

Raven: Stop! Stop! Please! I’ll do it. I’ll fly the ship.

McCreary: If we’re not airborne in two minutes… He loses the leg.

Scene 5:

Clarke: I’m here to see Colonel Diyoza.

Guard: Sorry. Only McCreary and the doc are allowed in.

Clarke: Well, the doc sent me. She needs her meds. Hormones for the baby.

McCreary on P.A..: Wheels up in two minutes, boys and girls. Time to end this war. Strap in.

Guard: Make it fast.

[Lock Buzzes]

Clarke: Uhh!

[Guard drops on the floor with a thud]

Diyoza: Hello, Clarke.

Clarke: I need to get to McCreary and keep this ship on the ground. You’re gonna help me. Turn around.

Diyoza: It’s hard to keep track of whose side you’re on.

Clarke: I guess we have that in common.

Diyoza: I guess we do.

Clarke: Let’s go.

Scene 6:

Image result for damocles part 2

Computer: One minutes to liftoff.

Shaw: Raven, you don’t have to do this.

McCreary: Hit him again.

Shaw: AAH!

Raven: Leave him alone! We’re ready for takeoff, all right?

McCreary: That’s enough.

[Shaw panting]

McCreary: Kuba, we’re heading your way. Watch the fireworks then come home. Take us up!

Clarke: We’re not going anywhere. Raven, cut the engines.

Raven: Copy that. About time.

McCreary: What are you gonna do? Shoot a pregnant woman?

Clarke: No. If I did that, your baby might live. I won’t left my child die. Will you?

Scene 7:

Murphy: I don’t see any missiles. Thank you, Clarke.

Bellamy: Now it’s our turn.

Kuba: So much for McCreary’s backup. All positions, open fire.

[Gunfire]

-At the Drop Ship-

Kuba on Radio: Aim for the engine. When the car stops, pull out the cannons!

McCreary: They can’t win.

Clarke: We’ll see about that.

–On the Battlefield-

Kuba: FIRE!

Murphy: Someone explain to me why I’m not shooting this Gatling gun.

Bellamy: This is Madi’s plan. We have to draw out the cannons.

Murphy: By giving them a big target? Yea that’s a great plan.

Echo: Ye of little faith.

[Vehicle skidding]

Murphy: You were saying?

Bellamy: What’s wrong? We’re not close enough. Why are we stopping?

Emori: They got the engine. Damn it! John, get away from the windshield!

Man: Ten seconds full charge.

Murphy: Ready to strink. Big gun. Go! Now! Be heroes.

Bellamy: Don’t have a shot.

Echo: I do. (Trigedasleng) Be true.

[Explosion]

Bellamy: I need to get closer.

Murphy: Get closer. I’ll cover you.

Emori: John, John, you’ll get hit!

Murphy: I thought you said you didn’t care.

[Gunshot]

Emori: John!

Murphy: [Yells]

[Gunfire]

Echo: I’ll be right behind you. If you miss, I’ll never let you live it down.

Bellamy: I won’t miss. Murphy, cease fire!

[Gunfire stops]

Murphy and Emori: Uhh!

Murphy: AAH!

[Enemy gunfire continues]

Echo: Still no cannon. What do we do now?

[Cannon is brought out]

Bellamy: Now we win.

[Gunfire]

[Explosion]

-In the Gorge-

Madi: It worked.

-On the Battlefield-

[Bellamy and Echo Panting]

Scene 8:

[Crowd murmuring]

Octavia: Take us home.

Madi (Trigedasleng): Charge!

[Army shouting]

-On the Drop Ship-

Kuba on Radio: Here they come, there’s too many. Retreat. Retreat! Go back to the village.

Clarke: It’s over. Tell your men to lower their weapons and I’ll lower mine.

Man: Boss, what do we do here?

McCreary: If she moves, shoot her.

Clarke: Diyoza, what the hell is he doing?

Diyoza: McCreary… McCreary, no. Clarke, you have to stop him. He’ll kill us all. Shoot him! Right now!

Shaw: McCreary, you can’t be this crazy.

Raven: Shaw?

Shaw: It was our plan for when we got back to Earth orbit. Weaponize the hythylodium to leverage our way to the ground. It’ll destroy the valley.

Clarke: Ok. Ok. My weapon’s down.

[Gun hits the floor]

McCreary: If I can’t have this valley… no one can.

Computer: Cargo away.

Scene 9:

Computer: 14 minutes to impact.

McCreary: What will we do?

Diyoza: You really are insane.

McCreary: What is insane about self-preservation? It’s how we save our child.

Raven: Whatever. How do we stop it?

Conputer: 13 minutes to impact.

Diyoza: We don’t.

McCreary: We’re on a ship. Take us up to space, and we survive. It’s as simple as that.

Shaw: For how long without a planet?

McCreary: For as long as we have to.

Clarke: Do what he says, Shaw. Fly the ship.

Raven: What? What? No. My friends. Our friends! Madi!

Clarke: Do you want to live or not? Fly the damn ship or Raven gets fried. Do it, Shaw. You’ve got 3 seconds. 3…2…1.

[Shocking noises]

[Gunfire]

Man: Ooh!

McCreary: [panting]

Computer: 12 minutes to impact

Clarke: You’ll never know your daughter.

[McCreary grunting]

Scene 10:

[Indistinct chatter]

[Shouting in distance]

Man: Hear that?

Other Man: What the hell is that?

Another man: Sounds like it’s coming from all sides. Sounds like 100.

Bellamy: Weapons down! Put your weapons down now. Put your weapons down!

Madi (Trigedasleng): Kill them all.

Bellamy: Halt! Hold your fire. They surrendered. It’s over.

Madi: They killed hundreds of our people in that gorge.

Bellamy: This can’t be what the flame is tell you to do.

Madi: I don’t need the flame to tell me what to do with a bunch of criminals who invaded my home.

Bellamy: We’ve been here before, Madi. We were the criminals. The 100. We landed in someone else’s home, and we went to war. You can execute them because they’re the enemy or you can break the cycle. You can be better than them. You can be better than us. The choice is yours, Heda.

[Siren]

Echo: What is that?

Man: That’s the evac signal. It means conditions are unsafe. We’re supposed to bug out.

Raven on Radio: Everyone, listen up. Life as we know it is about to end… again. Get your a**es to the transport ship now for immediate evacuation.

Monty on Radio: Raven, it’s Monty. We’re transporting the wounded.

Raven on Radio: Thank god, Monty. Hurry!

Murphy: Wait wait. Stop a second.

Monty: It’s slow going. So, putting aside a thousand other questions, how long do we have?

Raven on Radio: Nine minutes.

Raven: We’ll wait as long as we can.

Monty: Deja vu.

Scene 11:

Murphy: Ugh! Just go.

Niylah: He won’t make it. We have to go without him.

Monty: Show the others the way.

Harper: Ok.

Monty: I’ll take Murphy.

Harper: Ok.

Monty: We’ll be right behind you.

Harper: Ok. Follow me! 3, 2, 1.

Jackson: Go, Go, Go!

[Indistinct chatter]

Murphy: He’s right. Just go on. It’s too far. There’s not enough time.

Emori: Then I guess we’re both gonna die, because there’s no way in hell I can leave the man I love behind.

Murphy: Look, I’m not gonna do that to you, Emori. I can’t run.

Emori: Yes, you can.

Monty: No… but I can.

Murphy: Monty, what? [Monty picks him up] –Uhh! Mon– AAH! UHH. AAH!

Scene 12:

[Siren]

Computer: Eight minutes to impact.

Shaw: Raven, we’re good to go.

Raven: Clarke, we’re all systems. Where the hell is everyone?

Bellamy: Clarke!

Clarke: Thank god. They’re here!

Woman: Come on!

Bellamy: This way! There it is.

Man: Go!

Clarke: Everyone, get in the ship now!

Computer: Seven minutes to impact.

Echo: Clarke, what is this? What’s going on?

Clarke: I’ll tell you inside. No, not them.

Madi: Yes them. First we save their lives, then we let them prove they deserve it.

Clarke: The commanders told you that?

Madi: No. Bellamy.

Indra: Where’s Abby? Gaia will need her.

Clarke: She’s not with you? She was at the village. I’ve gotta get her.

Echo: No. We left a group to go door to door. They’ll bring her in.

Man: Put him inside! Put him inside now!

Scene 13:

[Siren]

[Door opens]

Abby: Good. Help. I need your help!

Octavia: You left without saying good-bye.

Computer: Six minutes to impact

Octavia: I’m not here to kill you, Abby. I’m sorry about Kan, but it’s time to go.

Abby: No. I won’t leave him.

Octavia: We’ve been here before. This is not a choice.

Abby: Yes, it is.

Octavia: So, it’s ok for me to be the monster, but not you?! Is that right? Eat or die. That was you, too!

Abby: Yes, it was. You’re right, and he knew. So, go ahead. Strike me down or get the hell out. Because I’m saving the man that I love.

Octavia: I have a better idea.

Scene 14:

Raven on Radio: Monty, come in.

Computer: Three minutes to impact.

Raven on Radio: Do you read me? Where the hell are you? Please respond. Guys, if we wait much longer, we’re not going anywhere.

Madi: You have to forgive her.

Bellamy: Now’s not the time, Madi.

Madi: Do you have any idea how much she cares about you?

Bellamy: So much she left me to die in a fighting pit.

Madi: That was a mistake. How many mistakes did you make to protect the child you loved?

Bellamy: That was different.

Madi: Was it? I shouldn’t tell you this, but when you were on the ring, she called you on the radio every day for six years. You didn’t know that did you?

Computer: Two minutes to impact.

Echo: There!

Woman: We need help!

Bellamy: What happened to Kane?

Clarke: Look, mom. I didn’t know.

Abby: You couldn’t have. The mothership has an O.R. If I can get up there, I can save him.

[Boom]

Bellamy: Sonic boom. It’s close. We have to hurry.

Harper: Bellamy, we’re here. We need help with the wounded.

Bellamy: Get Kane onto the ship. We’re right behind you. Go! Where are the others?

Harper: Murphy was hit. We didn’t have a stretcher for him, but they’re coming. They have to be. Hurry!

Indra: Gaia, up here.

Woman: Come on! Everybody inside.

Clarke: Monty, come in. Monty, do you read me?

Raven on Radio: Uh, guys? Look up. We can’t wait. We have to close the door.

Clarke: Bellamy.

Bellamy: I’m waiting for them.

Clarke: Bellamy, we have to go.

Bellamy: Clarke, you do what you have to do. I am not leaving my friends. I can’t do that again.

The 100 Fandom Is Toxic

All of the pictures provided in this article are real confessions found on the internet to prove the toxicity of The 100 fandom. Not all confessions are bad and these examples are not here to discourage you against sharing an opinion, they are simply just instances of confessions talking about the fandom as a whole.

The 100 fandom includes many different opinions across all areas of the show. The most popular being Bellarkers vs. Clexas which I have already discussed in previous blogs. Because there are many different opinions between characters and ships, some fans don’t know when they take it too far. For example, I have read countless tweets, posts, etc. about how certain fans of a ship should “kill themselves” just because of your opinions. Controversial topics like Bellamy’s sexual acts in season 1 to Ontari’s sexual acts with Murphy in the third season have turned into arguments among fans. tumblr_on4lfyZzSs1upq50po1_540Personally, I read these comments from the sidelines and usually do not comment on the matters. This instance shown, though, is disrespectful and is a terrible display of the fandom. Just because a girl is bi does not mean she has to end up with a girl. Bisexual means to have a sexual attraction to both women and men alike. Though this attraction may not be equal, one should not assume that a bisexual person is gay. One could think that this is true. That a bisexual character, like Clarke Griffin, should end up with a girl to “prove her bisexuality”. Overall, people need to understand the opinions of others. If someone believes that bisexually means ending up with the same sex, even though this is not entirely true, we have to respect their opinion. It is no use fighting something like this because opinions are hard to change.  The problem with believing that one opinion is above another is that it is strictly an opinion. I am allowed to believe that Bellamy should end up with Clarke, a bisexual character, while someone else is allowed to believe that Clarke should end up with a woman. tumblr_nmi8oh5xx11tul84jo1_1280Another example of a controversial topic is Bellamy have intimate relationships with underage girls in the first season. Personally, I believe that with only 100 people all between the average ages of 15-18 (plus Bellamy who was a little older), it is not a issue that should be deeply looked into. The group was dealing with a lack of medical and other resources along with a war against the grounders. No one was worried about the sexual actions among people. 48df1472418a4c6f47a67afb0517e10dSome people believe the underage girls were raped, but in reality the girls gave consent. And why is this issue just being discovered as we are going into the sixth season? If this was really a problem the CW would have talked to Jason Rothenberg earlier (and they are not involved in this issue now). The fandom started this by itself and has progressed it into something more than it is. Instead of fighting with each other over fiction characters and opinions, the people of the 100 fandom should appreciate the show as a whole. We should be able to respect other people’s opinions even if we don’t agree with them. Controversies start somewhere and can be avoided easily. tumblr_nlt7ioeiJc1tul84jo1_1280Together, we can restore the toxicity we are have created in the fandom. Confession accounts help the fandom connect opinions and hate should not be spread from confession posts. I follow confession accounts from other fandoms and there is not nearly as much hate in the comments as there is in a 100 confession post. So, please, do not spread hate or contribute to hate in the fandom. Together we can change how other fandom look at our fandom!

Lets Get This On The Table

I, personally, do not and will never ship Clexa. Below are the reasons for this opinion. If you are easily offended by people who disagree with your opinions please do not read this. I mean no hate toward the Clexas or the LGBTQ+ community and I’m not denying the fact that Clarke is bisexual. THIS IS STRICTLY MY OPINION!

No Chemistry

After the events toward the end of the second season, Clarke was filled with guilt and could not face her friends in Arkadia. True she shared a kiss with alexa in 2×14 but it is known to be “too soon” since Finn’s death. She stayed in the shadows and had a brief intimate relationship with Niyah, a shop owner in the grounded village we see Clarke in during the third season. Every ground knew her as the Commander of Death, Wanheda. Clarke becomes Skaikru’s ambassador and stays in Polis around Lexa for a couple episodes in the third season. The only other intimacy Clexa had was in 3×07 when they slept together just before Lexa would be shot and killed by Titus in that same episode. There whole relationship was rushed and the writers wanted the newly formed Clexa fans to have some closer before brutally killing off half the ship. Lexa betrayed Clarke even throughout their affair by sending Trikru soldiers to attack the Arkadia borders. This lead to Pike’s rule and hatred of grounders which affected the whole plot of the season movie forward. If Lexa truly cared for Clarke and put her above all else she would not have done this. Yes, it’s her role as Heda but she went behind Clarke’s back and attacked her people without a second thought.

Bellarke Development

Unlike Clexa, Bellarke has been developing since the Pilot episode and has been through everything together. From the war against the grounders, Mount Weather, A.L.I.E. (The Battle of Polis), Primfaya, and finally the war for Eden, Bellamy Blake and Clarke Griffin have the most history of all the characters of the show. Their budding hatred of each other in the first couple episodes of the seasons has lead to Bellamy saying goodbye and being filled with pain in the fourth season finale. These two characters’ relationship has developed into an iconic duo that should not be forgotten in The 100 going into the sixth season. Clexa no longer has any development because of her death in the third season. Clarke has had over 7 years of getting over Lexa and Bellamy has been by her side the whole time (excluding 6 years). When Clarke was alone on Earth she called Bellamy for 2,191 consecutive days.

I have no hate toward the Clexa shippers or the LGBTQ+ community and I believe it is good for the show to dive into that world with a strong female role, but, in my opinion, Bellarke makes more senses historically than Clexa.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Lets Be The Good Guys

Predictions For Season 6:

One major plot of the sixth season is the overall theme. Jason Rothenberg (Director) has confirmed that the idea of “Being the Good Guys” that character Monty Green posed in the season five finale will be a running theme that leads like Clarke Griffin and Bellamy Blake will face in season six.

Zaven:

The topic of Zaven has been a very controversial in the fandom since the end of season five in August. Miles Zeke Shaw (Jordan Bolger) has only been spotted on set a few times when filming started. Lately, even with the process of filming, he has not been on set. ddg0ymkx4aioltaMany fans believe that Shaw was killed off early into the season, while others believe he will play a less important role in the development of the show. Lindsey Morgan who plays Raven Reyes, has been on set frequently. She has been spotted with a new hair style which many fans believe is a result of her new relationship and found happiness. Overall, Zaven’s future is a mystery and the cast, along with writers, have yet to disclose anything.

Memori:

The end of season five (Damocles Part 2) brought tears to the audiences eyes but especially Memori fans. When Emori confessed that she still loved John in the season finale, the hope of Memori getting together was put back in the minds of fans. Moving into season six, fans can expect to see John dealing with his feelings toward Emori and their relationship developing into something more (that will please the shippers). maxresdefaultA promotion picture for sesaon six was released showing Shaw, Bellamy, Echo, Jackson, Miller, Clarke, along with John and Emori in the cockpit of the mother ship most likely heading to the ground. Me, along with all other Memori fans hope that both John and Emori make a larger impact in season six.

Becho vs Bellarke:

It has been confirmed that Clarke and Bellamy will face many difficulties in their friendship moving into the next season. Eliza Taylor (Clarke) said in an interview that this season was her most challenging as an actress. She also mentions that Clarke will face many emotions, including grief, moving into the sixth season. A promotion picture that was released by the director shows Clarke, Bellamy, and Echo around a fire on the new planet. the-100-season-6-13As Bellamy lays in Echo’s lap, fans went crazy. The Bellarkers were outraged that Becho is still growing strong, while Becho shippers are happy to see the relationship blossoming. Throughout the next season, the show will present a huge controversy displaying these ships so close to each other.

New Characters:

With a new season and a new planet for our cast there was bound to be new characters brought into the show. As of November 2018, there have been two knew reoccurring characters confirmed for season six. mv5bmtyymdu2mtiwof5bml5banbnxkftztgwnjg4njewode-_v1_sy1000_cr006661000_al_J.R. Bourne, known for his role as Argent on MTV’s Teen Wolf (ended 2017), has taken the role of Russel for the new season.

mv5bmtq2mdcznzg0n15bml5banbnxkftztgwmjkxnjc0mje-_v1_Russel has been confirmed to have a “difficult” relationship with Clarke Griffin and most likely with the rest of the cast. Just yesterday (11/10/18) a many named Greyston Holt released that he joined the cast of The 100 for season six. No further information about his character has been released.
mv5bzte1ytq1mzitnzbmzi00zgjkltg3ngytnzg1ytmyztg0mjq1xkeyxkfqcgdeqxvymtk3mzm5mda-_v1_sy1000_sx800_al_Personally, I believe he will have a close relationship with Russel. Perhaps he is Russel’s son, maybe brother? As of now, we don’t know but these two characters are the only two new cast members moving into the new season. On November 12th 2018, it was released that Doralynn Mui will play Olivia, a principal role, in season six. No further information has been released regarding her character or relations to other characters.

Blake and Blake:

It has been confirmed by The 100 writers that Octavia will face many challenges moving into the sixth season. Bellamy on the other hand will respect that his sister has been through a lot of pain and suffering throughout the six year time jump. The sixth season will bring a sense division among the Blake siblings that will take a long time to repair. Fans, on the other hand, want the Blake siblings to restore their relationship and go back to the protective brother and rebellious sister that the audience fell in love with.
